About Quantum Shift

In 2012, Quantum Shift Physical Therapy owner Denise Mead created her own practice to focus on healthcare as I feel it should be: looking a people as individuals with their own healing journey – not as a diagnosis, a protocol or a certain number of visits allowed – to provide a different healthcare experience where people feel connected, heard and cared for. Her goal is, and always has been, to provide a healing environment and a personalized experience for every person who walked through my door.

At Quantum Shift, we use Myofascial Release along with other bodywork and movement therapies to create healing for the individual. We promote independence through education in body mechanics, self-treatment instruction, and education in postural and movement awareness. Our goal is to help people eliminate pain, restore movement and daily function. Helping people to heal so they can achieve their highest quality of life.

A client today can usually expect to see a therapist for 10 -15 minutes before being handed off to an intern or student in an effort to maximize payment for the clinic. Denise fosters an environment where a person receives a full treatment with an experienced therapist in an environment where they can be treated as an individual. She utilizes John Barnes Myofascial Release as well as a variety of other assessments and hands-on treatment tools to treat the entire body and work with the whole human being.
